New Single and Special Performance from AIMER

Sony Music Japan has announced the worldwide release of AIMER’s 15th single, titled “Black Bird/Tiny Dancers/Omoide wa Kireide” has been released worldwide. In addition, November 17th AIMER will perform at Anime NYC as part of the “Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] Special Event featuring Aimer”. Catch all the details in the official press release below:

Aimer’s new single, “Black Bird/Tiny Dancers/Omoide wa Kireide” released digitally worldwide; scheduled to perform at “Fate/Stay night [Heaven’s Feel] Special event featuring Aimer”

Female singer, Aimer has risen in popularity with a deep husky voice that is impossible to forget after hearing. Her 15th single, “Black Bird/Tiny Dancers, Omoide wa Kireide” which features “Black Bird”, the theme song to the movie Kasane (released domestically Friday, September 7th; featuring Tao Tsuchiya and Kyoko Yoshine). All the songs in the single have the concept of “tender memories which ground the present”. The single debuted at #1 on Oricon’s digital single daily ranking, #2 on iTunes Japan’s weekly song ranking, and #1 on the weekly album ranking (of September 10th). Also debuting at #5 on the Oricon CD single ranking, the single has been a huge hit in charts.

The event “Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] Special Event featuring Aimer” has also been announced to take place at Manhattan’s Jacob Javits Center on Saturday, November 17th, as part of this year’s AnimeNYC. At the event, various popular US voice actors such as Kari Wahlgren, Cristina Vee, Bryce Papenbrook, and Tony Oliver will be holding talk panels. Renowned singer Aimer, who’s theme song to the anime, “Hana no Uta” reached #1 on the iTunes chart domestically, will also be performing a rare concert at the event.

Aimer Biography

Aimer has a unique husky voice that blends effortlessly with ballads. Originating from the word “to love” in French, Aimer has a defined presence in both the Anime industry and music industry. Debuting on September 7th, 2011 with the ending theme “Rokutousei no Yoru” for the anime No. 6, she has since sung for numerous popular animes including BLEACH, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, and Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works. The theme song, “Hana no Uta” that Aimer sung for the anime movie Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel I.presage flower], has garnered praise not only domestically, but overseas as well.
