I’m spending the start of the year in Nagasaki this year too.
As usual it’s so rustic and there isn’t anything but just by being able to come back to the place I was born, it makes me remember a lto of things.
This time is precious every year.
I went to a few spots I introduced on FM Nagasaki NohaRaji.
The illumination of the Shimabara outer port.
The port is about 5 minutes were I live so,
I often take a boat here to go visit Kumamoto or Fukuoka.
According to the rumors the illumination of the outer port is being increased every year. Lol
I also heard that there is a fireworks festival during the summer here.
The world biggest kadomatsu at the Tachibana Temple in Chijiwa.
The biggest in the world is amazing!!!
It really is quite big!!!
There are also 2 tori gates!
Incidentally,
the omikuji I drew at Tachibana temple was wonderfully a “Lots of luck”.
Tonight is the first NohaRaji of the year!
