The eighth “Draft King’s 5DK ~ The Draft King meeting!!~”! Continuing from last time we are following their musical roots two at a time so that everyone can get to know them better. This month’s edition we are asking NOHANA who serves as bass as well as leader and hiddy who serves as guitar and vocals!!
Alright then I would like to immediately ask you two about your musical roots. NOHANA-chan, on what occasion did you decided you wanted to form a band?
* NOHANA – When I was in middle school I learned about these things called bands, and at that time I thought bass was cool and I’d like to form a band, and that was the first occasion. When I tell this story I am told that the fact that I had my eyes on bass and not guitar or vocals from the start is rare, but I had no interest in a anything other than bass. After that I grew to like a girl bassist that was in a band from “Ajisai Music Village” but now that I think about it before wanting to be in a band or play bass, I was always hanging out with guys and being the “lone flower” in a group so perhaps I was aiming to become that type of person.
After that you left your hometown of Nagasaki and went to Okinawa from high school at which point your band life began, right?
* NOHANA – That’s right. From that point it was just being seeped in music everyday (Lol)
hiddy-chan’s impetus was?
* hiddy – I have loved music from when I was little and from elementary school I was like that, going through school I learned how to sing and dance, I had plenty of chances to show it in public. My impetus was thinking I would like to taste the enjoyment and the feelings of nervousness I had in those times.
