I’m sorry we surprised everyone with the sudden announcement.

We announced it the other day but,
the vocalist erica will be leaving Draft King.

Without the next live being set,
I think everyone who supports us was uneasy.

And I’m really sorry that our first announcement in a while turned out like this.

It’s been 3 years and a half since Draft King formed.

SHIHO and I were continuing from the previous band,
and since MAO was a support guitarist for us too, we went with that flow.
I knew who erica was but, it wasn’t until we formed Draft King that I got to know her.

From those who knew us from our Stepo age
it was just like our vocals switched,
I think there were plenty of people who saw it that way.

Comparing isn’t necessary but,
I cant help being bothered by it.

Both have their good points, and
both vocals had things that only they had.

And that is not limited to the vocals.

Everyone is a singularly unique person.

To erica, Draft King was her first band so,
she was surely fumbling around with various things.

Having seen her have troubles,
I recently felt like Erica’s uniqueness was coming out.

And I thought that would become Draft King’s strength.

Within all that,
when I heard from erica that she wanted to quit,
I didn’t believe it at first.

I couldn’t convince her.

What made erica do that?
How could erica keep singing for us?
We talked it over many, many times.

Time just passed by,
without Erica’s mind changing.

It was painful but we decided that she would leave the band.

It was really painful but,
but we still have to continue.

No matter how many things like this happen,
I strangely have not thought that I would like to quit the band.

Rather, the thought that “I don’t want to stop” has grown stronger.

I just start hating it.

And because I hate it, quitting is the wrong answer.

So,
I have no intention of letting Draft King end!!!

How we will continue has not been set at all but,
if you support us from now on, it would make me really happy.

Sorry I took some time after the announcement to update the blog.
It was long but thank you for reading until the end.

And I might now have even expressed or said half of what I wanted to. Lol

Anyways I’ll stop here for today.
