Today I went to a wedding for a classmate from elementary school in my hometown of Shimabara.
All of her friends attended in furisode so I wore mine for the first time since my coming-of-age ceremony.
Japanese clothes are great.
It was my first time going to a wedding ceremony since I became and adult but I wonder why wedding ceremonies are so wonderful?
I didn’t think I would cry at all but, from beginning to end, I cried more than anyone..
Dancing together in elementary school,
going to school together everyday during middle school,
and when we both moved to Tokyo, we still went out a lot.
Seeing her full of happiness, made me very happy.
Truly, congratulation.
