Very Good Days Home of the AIMI, Draft King, and Stereopony Community
One month ago Very Good Days hosted a private fan meeting event with Draft King at Otakon 2015. Today, we would like to share the group photo from the event.
We have been hard at work making a special Very Good Days Magazine release that covers our full experience at Otakon 2015. Here is a short excerpt:
They say opportunity knocks, and for Very Good Days we heard a crash at the door on the 5th of June. It began with an unsuspecting email to us; the contents setting our minds abuzz. Just a few days before came the announcement Draft King would be making their first appearance abroad, and the VGD staff was in the midst of making lodging preparations. That following Friday night, the vibration of my cell phone alerted me to the incoming message:Could Very Good Days host a fan-gathering with Draft King at Otakon?
Our immediate reaction was exhilarated excitement, but rapidly the magnitude of the request settled in. This was new ground for us, and the staff had to first make sure we were prepared for what was to come. Discussions and arrangements would continue over the weeks and days leading up to Otakon. Where could we hold the event? When could we do it? What would we do? Very Good Days was entering unexplored territory, but together we would try our best. We enthusiastically accepted the offer.
