Draft King has just announced that their third single “This is me.” will be released on July 22. Their official website was updated with new promotional images for the single, as well as an entire webpage dedicated for information about the upcoming release.
Having directed their previous video, the comedian Torri Miyuki directed the video for “This is me.” as well. The previous shocking and daring video for “Okuru Kotoba” was a huge topic of discussion. In Torii’s world, sensitive and varied emotions were displayed in detail. Continuing from the previous work, “music’s worldview” will be inlayed by Torii’s world.
Also, akkin, who is famous for producing for ONE OK ROCK, has been chosen as their sound producer. akkin has also worked with artists such as MAN WITH A MISSION and YUKI. He is improving Draft King’s sound to its maximum, a powerful yet POP-like sound has been achieved.
And for this single’s jacket, the popular model active with popteen, Ochi Yurano has been chosen. She is also making an appearance in the music video!
It was my first time shooting a music video so I was really nervous. I want girls in the same age group as us to listen to “this is me”. It’s a song that will encourage you when you’ve lost your confidence and push you forward. There’s a story in the music video too, it came out to be a wonderful video! Please watch it!
