Shooting Star
The song “Shooting Star” first appeared in the Stereopony single “Tatoeba Utaenakunattara”.
Looking at the night sky sometimes we just look at it without particularly wishing for something but then suddenly, a tear courses down our cheek. Standing with the person we like, we look at the night sky together and then mummer a confession that we hope will be carried by the shooting star. With unsaid words mummered we feel courage at night to speak our heart’s mind.Even though a simple text message is faster, we still chose to put the words of a love song together into our backpack and we wonder why we can’t actually catch ourselves and bring ourselves to confess.
With a ping from the heart, with a confession, jumping to reach the other person’s heart is what the shooting star does. And once this confession is accepted, the couple will be going through the same seasons, the same wind flying through the galaxy just like a pair of shooting stars.
The song is a very cute love song with good background vocals. The guitar bridge is a very melodious. AIMI’s vocals on this are particualrly sweet and it has the perfect effect of the heart confessing love and being accepted.
