Please Don’t Cry

“Nakanaide” means “please don’t cry.” It is a song sung to a loved one who is feeling very down.

When a loved one is hurt and too far away to reach physically, picking up the phone and reaching out to help is the only way. Giving your happiness to that person in exchange for their sadness and trying to ease their pain is the theme of this song.

AIMI has written both the lyrics and music for this song and you can feel the comfort in her voice as she sings it. A slow and calming song, a very beautiful song. The last part is very special with her ending line: “Please don’t cry… my most important person…”
